After seeing tonight’s spoken word concert, I feel like I’m a sister (I am) and that I need to speak now (…….)
Very inspiring words from all the ladies that presented tonight at the 13th Annual ‘When Sisters Speak’ Spoken Word Concert, which was held at the St. Lawrence Centre for the Arts.
I will definitely be checking this out again next year and in the mean time will look for other spoken word & other events put on by Up From the Roots and Dwayne Morgan and others in the city.
