It’s Sunday night. No, actually – it’s Monday morning. 12:37am. I should totally be asleep right now. But, I decided to catch up on my fitness blog. Ya. So about that… I still have not been back to the gym. It’s been 11 days. My knee has really kept me out of the game. Maybe it’s ’cause I’m older, and carrying more weight and am much less fit then in the past – but my knee is not bouncing back […]

Today (speaking in the past tense now, as I never finished this post last week), was a great class. I enjoyed it immensely. I worked hard, while trying to keep it at a moderate level. Fast forward to today – a week later. And like the title says, Body Attack WILL kill you. I jest. Mostly. I really did enjoy that class last week. But, I got a little too excited and ran (they do this thing where the participants […]

I was sooooooooo pooped by the end of class today that I could barely walk. I went to a store to pick up some toothpaste and they had stairs to get to the 2nd floor. I couldn’t. The cashier actually ran up to check for the toothpaste for me. That’s how beat I looked. I walked to work as usual. That is my one saving grace. A 45min walk (slow) into work everyday. I was asked to do something just […]

I really really need to get healthy and in shape. I’ve let myself go too far. Eating far too much junk food (sugar addict!) and not doing any real physical activity, plus a condition that is exacerbated by excess weight. Sooo…. “Focus on revealing what you already have.” Simply put, isn’t it? But we can so easily get caught up in all that we think we don’t have. All the we think we need. And that then becomes a very, very slippery slope of ‘what if’s’ and ‘should have’s’. Focus on right now, and what you can do right now that you enjoy, that makes you happy. It doesn’t have to be complex, but you should really do it because it […]

Take pictures and make a short timelapse of the train passing. I was on my way back from my morning Family Mini Shoot sessions at High Park and took what I thought would be a short cut on Junction Rd. But the train came an it was good. It forced me to wait and just be for awhile. And my sessions at the park? Well, they were awesome! I love hanging with families and making great pictures. Such a great […]
