Samantha – Yowza! | Toronto Portrait Photographer

Samantha | Such a doll. Check out this shot. I mean, how cute is she?! Besides rocking such a cute outfit – she endeared in those killer [and I mean killer 6+ heels!], just escaping a tumble, here and there. This was my first time using gels and this was the perfect shoot for it. I love the pop-punk-rock feel of her look. I also used my diy ‘ring light’, for the two closeup shots below, with the solid black background and th 3/4 pose with the black background. Quite pleased with the look of these and will endeavour to use my ring flash more often.

Dee’s pics and the rest of my ‘Sugar Skull’. These are shot on black seamless, with one speedlight in a 28″ softbox and 1 bare speedlite on the background. Looking forward to working with both Dee and Amber again, in the near future :)

Melissa – Fall Fashion shoot | Toronto Portrait Photographer

Melissa Hwang ~ find her here | read about our 1st shoot here! | My second time shooting with Melissa and again such a treat. Shooting fashion is new to me, but there couldn’t be a better introduction to it then with a model like Melissa ~ a consummate professional. We met early on a Sunday morning, in downtown Toronto. Working some killer heels and stylish fall jackets, she easily brought some killer looks, while precariously balancing off of ladders and loading docks. I only wish I could make it look this easy!
