I attended my 2nd spoken word event this weekend. Another event put on by Dwayne Morgan and Up From the Roots. This was hosted at Harlem on Richmond, a quick walk just east of Yonge and Queen. Last Friday evening I attended, ‘An Evening with Dwayne Morgan’. This was a book launch held at Toronto’s Harbourfront Centre for Dwayne Morgan’s latest book, “Everyday Excellence”. This event was also part of Harbourfront’s Kuumba festival; a kick off to Black History month.
