When you capture a bit of light coming from behind the subject, it adds a beautiful dimensionality to the image. In these images, the back light is not particularly strong, but I like it.

This image is on Queen St., in front of Nathan Phillips Square. I was shooting long lens (250mm) at 1/125, iso1600 and f5.6, walking towards her. I love how calm she looks.
