Listening to Corinne Bailey Rae’s song, ‘Seasons Change’, the chorus caught my attention and resonated:
don’t you know that, that patience is a virtue (yes it is),
and life is a waiting game…
don’t you know that, peace must be nurtured
I don’t know if life is so much a waiting game, as much as a ‘just do it’ game. but definitely, peace – our collective peace – seems so fragile at times and definitely needs some more caring hands. Some more attention. What do you think?
MMMmhmmmmm. Peace is a beautiful thing… In Hebrew the word is Shalom, or Shalum, and it means completeness, safety, welfare, health, prosperity, and friendship… SUCH a beautiful picture… We definitely need more peace ❤

If we follow mainstream media these days, it might seem that peace is indeed falling apart and more fragile than ever. That said, simply wandering around the streets today, I witnessed many moments of humanity coming together. Joy and peace is all around us, we just need to look more closely and away from CNN, FOX News, et al. Nice post, Ardean!

So true Mike – and why I don’t watch the news – it seems swayed to promoting all that’s wrong in the world/it’s such a narrow view. That is awesome though, that you were able to see peace in action so easily. I agree, if we look, we will see it. And the more we look for it maybe we’ll be reminded that we can add to it 🙂
