Back to the Streets
I’m working downtown for the summer. And despite my disdain for the GO Train, I’m excited that I’ll once again have the opportunity to do some ‘street photography’. Now my style is not what I call ‘real’ street photography. The real school of street photographers, apart from using film back in the day, were also shooting on wide angle or standard telephoto lenses (28mm to 50mm), which means that 1.You are either shooting ‘environmentally’ – meaning that you are composing […]

Claire and Damien got married | Toronto Photographer
Why is it that although I spent the morning with the girls, I can’t put the right name to the right face (except for the moh), but after 5 mins with the guys, I remembered every last one of them? Well, whatever the reason, I know that Claire and Damien were supported on their big day, by not only an awesome bridal party but also by so many amazing friends and family. At the reception as much tears (of joy) […]

Family Portrait – All about Sara | Toronto Portrait Photographer
Ya, there’s no point in trying to deny it, Sara was definitely the star of this family session. Besides being supremely precocious, she is SUCH a cutie! Add to that, genes from 2 good looking and tall parents (her mom is a model), well, she is an adorable force to be reckoned with 🙂 When I arrived that morning, Sara was excited to give me a tour of her room and have me meet her bunny, Maxine (the cat) and […]

Toronto Pillow Fight 2012
Well, I guess I have to preface this by saying my pictures suck. Shooting in black and white didn’t suck. LOVE how that looks. Shooting in MANUAL focus didn’t suck. LOVE how that looks. What sucked was my choice of lens’ – 50mm and 85mm on full frame. AND, I realised that as soon as I ventured the nerve to go up to the pillow fight area and put the camera to my face. 50mm is not wide enough. The […]

Yummy Waffle & Fruit Brunch
I love hanging with my sis. Nuff said. I don’t do mushy. But suffice to say, I always have a great time doing anything or nothing with her. Secret motive behind this brunch: take some profile pics of her, in a casual setting. Added bonus: she took some great shots of me. Actually, better then mine were of her. Hmmm…. Moving on, I just want to say that I was pleasantly surprised by my William’s Pub Waffle. It was tasty […]
